The Final

Though I knew it was coming,

the starter’s first command surprised me.

TAKE YOUR MARKS!

I felt my heart beating faster than I could blink.

GET SET

BANG!!!

GO GO GO

SWIM SWIM SWIM

Water flying of my arms,

Legs kicking like a motor.

Then my eyes see the wall,

GO GO GO

I’m nearly there

Then touch.

Save the books

Today we heard that lots of books were put in the bin outside our school, and my class were very sad and so was I.  So we went out and got the books out of the bin and put the books in a car to go to an op-shop and I got some books and this is one of them:

In the tide line, the bark off the drift wood is all broken into bits on the hard sand.
The big sand castles abandoned.
The waves crash on the sand.
A small piece of clay falls into the raging sea.
WOW  it is a super bad day to go swimming.
